The Groot Winterhoek Wilderness is known for its rugged, wild landscape, with exceptional rock formations.Nestled in the mountains, is one of the largest rock pools in the Western Cape. We do a scenic, and challenging 3 day hike, featuring stunning fynbos, unique rock formations, and a steep final descent into a deep mountain gorge with a waterfall-fed pool. This is wild camping in the wilderness. Guests must pack their own food and carry their own gear for the 3 days and 2 nights. Included is your permit with a guided 3 day hike to and from ‘Die Hel’ with a picture perfect camping spot next to a river.
