Cederberg Zooridge

The Cederberg mountain range is one of the top hiking destinations in South Africa. There are a number of stunning hiking trails but we will take you into the rugged serrated sandstone cliffs and deep valleys with amazing rock formations and bushman paintings. We will go into the Cederberg from the Koue Bokkeveld area, 38km from the small town Op Die Berg. We will not be walking on trails, the hike is not difficult to moderate but you need to be hiking fit.

The weekend includes accommodation in a big farm house with 6 bedrooms and a cosy fire place. We will start Friday with a walk in the veld enjoying some “soetwyn” sundowners. On Saturday a full day guided hike (coffee in the veld lunch pack included), spectacular rock formations, caves and bushman drawings. Sunday morning a short walk before breakfast and departure. All meals are included, transport to our hiking staring point, guided tours and permits. This is a spectacular weekend to discover the Cederberg.
