Wolfberg Cracks

The Wolfberg Cracks are known for the narrow, vertical fissures that cut through the sandstone cliffs. The hike involves navigating tight passages, steep slopes, and rock scramble, which offers spectacular views. It is a challenging trail that requires a good level of fitness. We will also visit the Valley of the Red Gods a scenic area characterized by striking red sandstone formations and the Stadsaal Caves, rock formations, caves and overhangs formed by erosion of lower layers of the sandstone, as well as prehistoric rock paintings.
The weekend consists of accommodation in cottages (per person sharing). On Friday we will visit the Valley of the Red Gods for sundowners. Saturday a guided tour up to Wolfberg Cracks and back. On Sunday we will visit the Stadsaal Caves and enjoy brunch under one of the overhangs. All meals are included, guided tours and permits. This weekend is filled with magnificent landscapes, and unique rock formations.
